Barbican Kitchen, situated above Plymouth Gin Distillery on the Barbican in Plymouth, has recently donated £336.58 to Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) following its two month Dine and Donate campaign.
During January and February customers were encouraged to donate with the Barbican Kitchen’s annual “Dine and Donate” set menu.

Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is launching a brand new walking event in North Somerset. Called the Summer Ramble, it’s a 5-mile sponsored walk around the grounds of its Charlton Farm hospice, taking in Priors Wood, part of the Gordano Round foothpath, and finishing with a lovely view of the hospice from the surrounding fields.

Pete Robinson will be joined by 12 fellow ‘old men’ on a 1,000-mile cycle ride from John O’Groats in Scotland to Land’s End in Cornwall later this month in a bid to raise thousands of pounds for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
The friends, all aged 50 to 59, will be clocking up an average of 80 miles a day during the 12-day Old Men Go South cycle challenge, which gets under way on May 29.
