Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is excited to announce that it has the support of Fugro as a sponsor for its Moonlight Memory Walk which is returning to Falmouth on 30th March.
More than 200 walkers navigated their way across Exmoor in the 27th annual Rotary StarTrek Challenge on Saturday night.
A total of 46 teams, made up of 240 walkers, took part in this year’s event, organised by the two Ilfracombe Rotary clubs in aid of Children’s Hospice South West and North Devon Hospice and many other local charities and good causes.
Paul and Renate O’Donnell of Wood ‘n’ Things have supported Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) for 16 years and raised tens of thousands of pounds for the charity. Much to their delight, the couple recently won £1,000 in the charity’s weekly lottery.

The ‘Show & Tell’ exhibition at The Old Brick Workshop in Higher Poole is being held to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West.
The work on show has been created by participants on courses run by Wellington artist Claire Western and will showcase a variety of mediums and techniques.
The Cholwill family, from Bridgerule, have now been making their wooden red nosed reindeer in aid of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) for six years.
Their inspiration for creating this fundraising scheme was through the sad loss of their beloved son, brother and uncle, Mark, some years ago. However, little did they realise that the reindeer were going to be such a popular item to buy at Christmas time for so many people.

Local independent house builder, Devonshire Homes, has raised thousands of pounds for Children’s Hospice South West during a two-year fundraising drive.
RGB Building Supplies’ Barnstaple branch came out on top of a company-wide fundraising event in aid of Children’s Hospice South West.
All 20 branches went head-to-head to see which could raise the most amount of money as part of the charity's £50 Challenge, raising a fantastic £2,568 in total.
