Devon Hampers have created a festive charity hamper in support of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Hundreds of Santas on motorbikes will once again take to the roads of Cornwall and beyond to raise money for Little Harbour Children’s Hospice South West.

The annual Santas on a Bike ride, which will take place on Saturday, December 6, has become a beloved festive event, attracting riders from across the region and delighting families along the route.

Stagecoach, the UK’s leading bus operator, has chosen Children’s Hospice South West as the charity partner for its 2025 Christmas fundraising campaign in the South West, supporting the vital care the organisation provides to children and families across the region.

Throughout November and December, passengers travelling on Stagecoach buses in the South West – including routes across Exeter, Torbay, Barnstaple and Plymouth – will be able to make on-board donations, with every contribution helping the charity continue delivering specialist hospice care, respite and emotional support.

More than 230 people took part in an emotional night-time charity walk at The Lost Gardens of Heligan on Saturday 8 November.

Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) annual Moonlight Memory Walk took place at the gardens in Pentewan near St Austell.

The event has raised £28,000 for the charity, with money still coming in, which runs the Little Harbour children’s hospice in nearby Porthpean.

A vibrant charity fashion show held at HMS Drake, Devonport Dockyard, has raised £2,700 for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Organiser Katie, who works at the dockyard, rallied her friends, family and colleagues to donate dresses and model them on the night including her own mum, adding a personal touch to the evening.

There were opportunities to purchase dresses which were on display in the venue as well as bid on dresses that were being worn by models on the catwalk.

The dress auction was compered by Mike, whose family was supported by CHSW’s Little Harbour hospice in St Austell

Private family investment group, The Goonvean Group has recently announced that it's going to extend its 2 year partnership supporting Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) for an additional 3 years. The group aims to raise £100,000 over the 5 year partnership period and has recently presented the charity with a cheque for £43,542 raised to date.

The announcement was made by Goonvean Group Managing Director Matthew Gazzard at their Goonvean Summer Games fundraiser at Cullompton Cricket Club; an annual event held for staff from all of the Group’s businesses.
