Weston-super-Mare Grand Pier to host CHSW Business Club event
Companies across Weston-super-Mare are being invited to a special event to find out more about Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) Business Club.
The charity’s Business Club has been running for 4 years and provides local companies the chance to find out more about the work of CHSW as well as providing networking opportunities and making new connections with other businesses.
There are already 54 companies across the south west which have signed up to be CHSW Business Club members.
A Business Club event is being held on Weston-super-Mare Grand Pier on Wednesday, 25 September.
The event, which is being sponsored by the Grand Pier, runs from 4pm-6pm.
CHSW Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser Amanda Gallagher said: “Our Business Club is an exciting opportunity for businesses not only be associated with Children’s Hospice South West but also to expand their network build new connections across the area.
“The support from our Business Club members helps fund ongoing hospice, emergency, end-of-life and bereavement care for families who face an uncertain future
“We are looking forward to bringing our Business Club to Weston-super-Mare and are keen to hear from local companies who want to become part of this special network.”
Accountancy firm Albert Goodman, which has offices across the south west including in Weston-super-Mare, has already signed up to the initiative.
The Grand Pier director Michelle Michael said: “Offering our venue space, Captain Jack’s Bar, free of charge to Children’s Hospice South West for their upcoming Business Club Members event is one way we can support this remarkable charity.
“The care they give for families in need is absolutely incredible, and we are pleased we can help them continue their meaningful work.
“We hope this event helps them to secure necessary funding to continue their incredible services across Devon, North Somerset, and Cornwall."
