Rupert Connor-Latus will be just 9 weeks old on Sunday 9th December when he will be Santa number 1 at Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) Santas on the Run event at the Eden Project.
Santas on the Run is a 2km sponsored festive fun run which Rupert’s mum Sammy was keen to get him signed up for before he was even born along with siblings Flynn, Robyn and Evelyn.

Retired painter and decorator Mike Crocker was approached by Johnny from Helston Grill to paint the outside of the shop. Mike and friend Jamie discussed the job over a drink one Saturday night and agreed that they would do it but didn’t want paying for it, instead they would ask for a donation to be made to CHSW instead.
The Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) team is delighted with the success of the charity’s Bubble Rush event which took place on Sunday 7th October at Newnham Park in Plymouth.
Over 1000 people took part in the 5km family fun run which saw participants of all ages run, jog, skip, dance and walk through a sea of bubbles and foam at stations along the route leaving them covered in different coloured foam.
