More Santas than ever were seen at Eden on Sunday for Children's Hospice South West's (CHSW) Santas on the Run sponsored fun run.
Over 1200 people descended on Bristol yesterday for the Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) annual Santas on the Run.
Waterfront square was a sea of red as adults, children, prams and dogs dressed festively and made their way round the harbourside raising Christmas cheer in their Santa gear!
On Tuesday 25 November, Metro Bank’s store in Bath held a Christmas networking event for local businesses in association with local charity Children’s Hospice South West. The festive evening welcomed more than 30 local business people in area including Visit Bath, Savills and Monahans and many more.
There was a fantastic turn-out for a hot new fundraising event supporting Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW). Thirty people signed up to take part in a Firewalk at Cabot Circus and committed to raise £125 each. Collectively they smashed their fundraising and £8,935 was achieved by the participants.
Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is delighted to announce that alongside Ocean Housing Group as the headline sponsor for their Santas on the Run, Whirlwind Sports Community CIC and Big Box Advertising are also joining the event as sponsors.

Kitley House Hotel was the stunning backdrop for Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) most recent fundraiser, the Firewalk; which involved 70 people walking on fire on Thursday evening and hoping to raise over £12,000 in sponsorship.
A Devon County Councillor and six local businesspeople spent the day ‘behind bars’ at Exeter Castle to help raise thousands of pounds for Children’s Hospice South West.
Bemused shoppers watched as Exmouth town crier Roger Bourgein led ‘The Exeter Seven’ along Exeter High Street to herald the start of the charity’s Jail and Bail fundraiser.
The ‘jailbirds’ were then hauled before a judge, charged with fictitious crimes, thrown in the slammer and tasked with raising bail for their release.
Support Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) this year by taking part in Bristol’s biggest festive fun run, Santas on the Run.
The 2k course, which begins at Lloyds Amphitheatre and winds its way round Bristol Harbourside, is suitable for all ages and abilities and takes place on Sunday 8 December.
