Unfortunately, there are some items we can’t accept due to health and safety, and legal reasons.

Household and furniture

  • Large play equipment (indoor/outdoor)
  • Beds (central and Cornwall areas only)
  • Furniture (Cornwall area only)
  • Pianos
  • Divan beds
  • Electric beds
  • Glass TV stands
  • Flat packed furniture (even if assembled)
  • Pillows and duvets
  • Blinds
  • Light fittings (mains appliances).

Children's items

  • Soft toys without CE marking
  • Magnetic putty
  • Hand knitted toys
  • Car seats
  • Moses baskets and stands
  • Cot mattresses (unless brand new)
  • Baby bouncers (hung from door)
  • High chairs
  • Potties
  • Baby walkers.

Electrical items

  • White goods
  • Microwaves
  • VHS players
  • TV boxes (such as Sky, Virgin, Freeview)
  • Electric blankets
  • Computers
  • Sunbeds and tanning equipment
  • Shavers.

Sports equipment

  • Buoyancy aids (unless brand new in box)
  • Safety equipment (helmets, etc.)
  • Bikes.

Other items

  • Knives
  • Hot water bottles
  • Mobility aids
  • Food items.
