Original Cottages Devon invited customers to make a donation to the charity when booking a stay in the county in 2021.

Brand manager Gemma Davenport visited CHSW’s Little Bridge House hospice in North Devon shortly before Christmas to drop off the money raised, along with presents for the children and family members staying at the hospice.
Oliver McCarron, Original Cottages’ South West head of property recruitment, said: “It’s so important to give back to our local community, and as a truly local brand we were so pleased to provide the hospice with this donation.”
CHSW delivers a range of services including respite and short breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end-of-life care.
CHSW area fundraiser Ruth Morgan said: “This is such a wonderful way to raise money to help support families in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset facing the most difficult of times.
“Thank you so much to Original Cottages Devon for thinking of Children’s Hospice South West and to all their guests for their kind donations – they really will make a difference to so many children and families who rely on our hospices over the coming year.”
