Since the beginning of lockdown, the family have been shielding to ensure that Dallas can stay at home safely. Despite the challenges, dad, Adrian, explains how the family are making the most of their time together at home.
“We are staying at home isolating ourselves. So far, lockdown hasn’t been too bad for us as we’re used to caring for Dallas 24/7, but we are missing going out to places we would normally go to like the Eden Project, Dairyland, the zoo. But we’re making the most of time at home!
We keep Dallas busy with time in the sensory room we built her. She also has a new swing and she loves spending time in her hot tub!
The worst thing for us is not being able to see our other daughter and grandchildren but we have fun playing games with them over video call a couple of times a week.”
