Award-winning Masterchef to inspire charity lunches at Bude hotel
Award-winning Masterchef Peter Gorton will add a touch of Michelin Star quality to the Falcon Hotel in Bude this winter.
The top West Country chef will be working with the hotel’s head chef Aaron Vanstone to create special two- and three-course menus for a series of charity ‘lunch and learn’ events taking place at the waterfront hotel.
Every Wednesday from January 16 until March 20, diners will be able to sample dishes inspired by Peter, who was the chef/proprietor of the Carved Angel restaurants and cafés in Exeter, Taunton and Dartmouth and The Horn of Plenty in Devon, before starting his own chef consultancy business in 2014.
Between courses, they will also be able to hear from a number of guest speakers, including the Mayor of Bude Bob Willingham.
The events are supporting Children’s Hospice South West, which provides support, care and respite to more than 500 families across the South West at its three hospices in Cornwall, North Devon and North Somerset.
Three-course meals cost £19 and two-courses are available for £15. To book, call the Falcon Hotel on 01288 352005 or email bookings@falconhotel.com
