Archie completes The Three Peaks
Archie who goes to The Downs School, a stone's throw from our Charlton Farm hospice, has climbed The National Three Peaks - Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England & Snowdon in Wales - and raised funds for CHSW!
The year 7 pupil completed the challenge in just three days and raised over £2,000. Archie's total walking distance was 23 miles, his total ascent, 3064 metres and he was driven a distance of 462 miles.
CHSW Community Fundraiser, Kylie Gallagher, said "This is an incredible achievement and we are all so proud of Archie and honoured that he has chosen to fundraise for Children's Hospice South West. The support from staff and students at The Downs School is unabating and we look forward to working with them again when the new school term begins in September."
