What was it that interested you about volunteering?
After retiring from full time employment I was keen to help with a local charity and for various reasons I felt I had a connection with CHSW so wanted to offer any assistance I could.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy the social contact mostly. I enjoy the work no matter how menial and above all how grateful everyone is no matter what you do, and of course the Hospice is such a friendly place to work.
