Andrew is a science, health care and research communicator with over 35 years’ experience in-house and as a consultant.
He has worked extensively in the areas of health policy, health care promotion, lab-based research and health service research in the NHS, the independent sector, research institutions and universities.
In addition to his trusteeship at Children’s Hospice South West, Andrew is also a trustee at Colyton Grammar School (which he attended as a pupil) and a patron at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter.
A keen gardener, he has custodianship of a 90ft polytunnel where he grows fruit and vegetables for friends and family. He and his wife are the proud pawrents of two Cairn terriers.
