Cream Tea Hampers supporting children's hospice
The Cornish Hamper Store, proud retailers of hampers sent nationwide full to the brim of Cornish goodies, are going to be supporting Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) this autumn.
The Cornish Hamper Store, based in Redruth, will be donating 50p to CHSW which runs Little Harbour children’s hospice in St Austell from the sale of each cream tea hamper that is ordered between 26 September and 10 October.
Chris Dash, Marketing Executive from The Cornish Hamper Store said; “We are thrilled to be announcing our partnership with Children’s Hospice South West, a cause very close to our hearts. Knowing that funds will be used to enrich the lives of so many children and families throughout Cornwall gives us all the motivation we need to raise as much money as we possibly can.”
The Cornish Hamper Store specialise in sending out hampers of the best Cornish produce for any occasion to recipients across the country.
Amanda Masters, Area Fundraiser for CHSW said; “We are absolutely delighted that The Cornish Hamper Store has chosen to support us in this way, their hampers make the perfect gifts for those who are hard to buy for.
It feels very fitting to have these Cornish treats supporting our Little Harbour children’s hospice where cream teas are regularly on the menu to give our families a treat during their visits with us.
Little Harbour is currently supporting more than 145 children, young people and their families with resilience stays at the hospice, day visits, end of life care, bereavement support as well as home visits and virtual support. The hospice costs around £3 million a year to run and relies heavily on voluntary donations from the local community and businesses.
