Boxlocal scone and tea hamper created in support of children’s hospice
Bristol-based artisan food hamper company Boxlocal has joined forces with Children’s Hospice South West to offer customers a delicious deal on a Great British classic.
The company is supporting CHSW’s Big South West Cream Tea by donating 10 per cent from the sale of a bespoke scone and tea box specially created in support of the charity.
The premium hamper includes fruit scones, tea bags and strawberry jam. There is even a china mug made by Stokes Croft in Bristol.
All products are sourced from independent, sustainable businesses in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Packaging is 100 per cent recyclable and hampers are shipped using a zero-emission delivery service.
The scone and tea boxes are available to order for £36 (plus £5 postage and packing) from May 23 to August 31 on the Boxlocal website. Business clients can order one for £34 plus VAT (including postage and packing) and discounts are available on orders of 40 box orders or more.
Boxlocal co-owner Kate Wyatt said: “We are delighted to partnered up with Children’s Hospice South West, one of our favourite award-winning charities. CHSW provides hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families and we’re so proud to be able to support this vital service.
“We hope people will enjoy this great British classic at home, the park or in the office and help raise vital funds for local families, one scone at a time!
With The Queen's Jubilee coming up, there’s no better excuse!
CHSW corporate fundraiser Amanda Gallagher added: “We are so grateful to Boxlocal for supporting our Big South West Cream Tea this year.
“Ordering one of these delicious boxes is a lovely way to treat someone you know and such an easy way to support local families going through the toughest of times.”
