Mega support from new Cornish clothing brand
New Cornish clothing brand MegaWhet hopes to raise £20,000 for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) with the launch of their branded t-shirts.
Malcolm Harris, the brainchild of the MegaWhet brand, explains how his new venture will support CHSW;
We are encouraging people to buy our t-shirts, post a photo on social media of them wearing the t-shirt at their favourite landmark, location, party or event, tag #MegaWhet and we will then donate £5 to the children’s hospice.
The t-shirts come in a range of colours and sizes for men, women and children and are priced at £15.
Malcolm continues; “The idea has been in the pipeline for a few years and I wanted to find a way that the brand could support Children’s Hospice South West as it was a cause that my parents supported for a number of years. I lost them both two years ago and promised that I would continue their legacy. It is such a worthy cause, I am proud to continue to support it and have set a target of raising £20,000 this summer. So buy your t-shirts, have fun in them and share with us on social media and let’s hit the target together.”
Money raised from MegaWhet t-shirts will help local children and families get the care and support they need from Little Harbour children’s hospice in St Austell. Little Harbour is currently supporting over 140 children with life-limiting illnesses and their families, as well as over 70 bereaved families. The charity relies almost entirely on voluntary donations to be able to run its service for families.
