The school community really gets behind our annual charities and it is an incredibly important part of school life
The school have been raising awareness at their annual Christmas Fair and kick started their fundraising with a non-uniform day and family fun run. The 255 children at Tockington Manor will learn about the excellent work of CHSW alongside their fundraising activities.
Stephen Symonds, Headmaster of Tockington Manor School and Nursery said: “We are delighted to have CHSW as our charity for the year. The school community really gets behind our annual charities and it is an incredibly important part of school life. We always have assemblies with our chosen charity so they can explain the work they do to our pupils and that definitely ignites a fire in them to support in the best way they can.
“Our partnership with CHSW this year has begun strongly with events like our annual Russell Family Fun Run, numerous non-uniform days and our Christmas Fayre already raising money. Our strong school community have fully supported this charity and I look forward to a busy 2022 of events where we can continue to fundraise for this amazing charity.”
