North Somerset couple offers exclusive Christmas shopping experience
Paul and Renate O’Donnell have kicked off their annual Woodnthings Christmas Fayre at their home in Cleeve, North Somerset. Running until 20 December, the couple have adapted the festive extravaganza in line with government guidelines and viewings will be by appointment only.
The creative couple will showcase many items made by themselves as well as other local craftspeople including handmade wood carvings, mirrors, decorations and cards. A percentage of takings will be donated to Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) and Cancer Research UK.
In previous years the couple have had up to 70 people per day visit their house to view the craft items on sale. This year they are restricting viewing to groups of four people in various time slots throughout the day. Face coverings must be worn and social distancing will apply.
Refreshments will be on offer and cream teas or cheese scones will be available on request, as are gluten free and vegan treats. All proceeds from the sale of refreshments will go to CHSW’s Charlton Farm hospice in Wraxall.

**UPDATE** In line with Government Guidelines, Paul & Renate will be closing their doors to the public from Thursday 5 November and hoping to open again in December.
In the meantime, please take a look at their website to order items from the comfort of your own home!
