Bubble Rush Plymouth 2018 update

Why has the event been postponed?

Due to the high winds and rain forecast for Sunday, we are sadly having to postpone Bubble Rush at Newnham Park. This decision has been taken with the safety of our participants in mind. 

What is the new date?

We are pleased to let you know that we will now hold the event on Sunday 7 October 2018, 11.30am – 3.30pm at Newnham Park.

Will my race time be the same?

Participants who were due to start their Bubble Rush at 11.00am will be starting at 1.00pm. Participants who were given the 12.00noon start time will now start at 2.00pm. Please do contact us on 01726 871 800 if this is not suitable. The event village will be open from 11.30am to collect your t-shirts and start the bubble fun.

I can't make the new date, can I receive a refund?

As per our event T&Cs if you are unable to attend this new date we are able to offer you a full refund on the ticket price. The bill payer will need to drop us an email with the names and contact details of those who are unable to make this date so we can process this refund onto the bill payer's card. All refund requests must be received by Friday 28 September, 12.00noon. After this date your registration fee will be treated as a donation.

How do I receive a refund if I've set up a Virgin Money Giving or Just Giving page?

We suggest that you let your donors know you will not be taking part in the event. If you have an online Virgin Money fundraising page, any donors wishing to receive a refund of their sponsorship will need to contact Children’s Hospice South West at enquiries@chsw.org.uk with their details. (Please note for Virgin Money Giving pages your refund will be the donation amount received by Children’s Hospice South West, i.e your donation minus any commissions and fees taken by Virgin Money Giving).  If you have set up a Just Giving fundraising page, please contact them directly.
