Cabot Circus choose CHSW as its Charity of the Year
Cabot Circus in Bristol has announced it is to support local charity, Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), as its charity of the year.
The charity has three hospices across the South West, including Charlton Farm near Bristol, Little Bridge House in North Devon and Little Harbour in Cornwall. It provides specialist palliative care to children with life-limiting conditions, respite for the whole family, a sibling service for brothers and sisters, emergency support, end of life care and a bereavement service for as long as is needed.
The local hospice, Charlton Farm situated in the beautiful North Somerset countryside just 15 minutes from the city, currently supports over 200 children and relies almost entirely on voluntary donations to deliver its services to families from Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Somerset, Bath and West Wiltshire.
Amanda Gallagher, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser at CHSW said, ‘We’re thrilled to have established this partnership with Cabot Circus and look forward to working with all the team on some exciting plans this year. This collaboration is not just about raising funds but about raising awareness of the vital work we do.’
Stephanie Lacey, General Manager of Cabot Circus said, ‘We’re delighted to have partnered with Children’s Hospice South West and have some great initiatives to support the charity including our Community Day where staff will help to transform their garden for families to enjoy. We’ve set an ambitious fundraising target which we hope our customers will support by donating at various points around the centre.’
