RUN Barnstaple Final Mile 2025
Run miles and raise smiles
Welcome to RUN Barnstaple Final Mile school challenge, completing a half marathon, running 12 miles at school and joining us for the final mile at Rock Park as part of RUN Barnstaple. Whether it's a mile a day, a week or a month, every step counts towards making a difference.
It’s free to take part but we ask you to raise £30 to help make the most of short and precious lives while celebrating Little Bridge House’s 30th birthday, our children’s hospice in North Devon.
We can provide all fundraising materials that you need to help make your Final Mile challenge a success and ensure that you have lots of information about the charity to inspire people to sponsor you.
Information for parents/guardians: schools must have signed up to the Final Mile challenge for your child to take part. This event is open for children in year 3 and above. Parent/guardian consent is required. Please note that there will be no on the day registration.

Raising sponsorship
We will provide your school with all the fundraising materials that you need to help make your Final Mile challenge a success.
- £5 could buy the ingredients for a birthday cake to make memories that last a lifetime
- £10 could pay for paints and materials for messy play - helping children and young people express how they feel in creative ways
- £25 could help fund fun family times in the hydrotherapy pool at the hospice to make memories together
- £30 could help fund a virtual Music Therapy session to help children and young people to express their thoughts and feelings
