CHSW's Little Steps shop to re-open in time for Christmas!

10 December 2024 CHSW

A much-loved children’s charity shop in Bristol which was forced to close suddenly earlier this year is to re-open – just in time for Christmas.

The Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) Little Steps shop at Zetland Road, Redland, was forced to close immediately on September 23 after the ceiling collapsed.

Repairs have now been carried out and the shop will re-open at 9.30am on December 11.

The shop, which opened in 2014,  is a treasured part of the Bristol community and sells only pre-loved children’s items, from prams and buggies to clothes and toys.

CHSW Area Manager Debbie Cheeseman said:

Our Little Steps is unique as it only sells children’s items. It really is a one stop shop for parents, whether they are looking for a new outfit for their child or a new toy.

“All our stock is donated by our generous supporters. We are delighted the shop has been repaired and we can re-open before Christmas.”

“There is some amazing stock for people to browse and lots of bargains to be had whether you are looking for a present for under the tree or a stocking filler.”

The shop opens seven days a week from 9.30am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on a Sunday.

Volunteers are always needed to help at the shop and anyone interested in joining the team should call 0117 329 3551.
