Local business supports Santas on the Run
St Austell based company, Polymermedics, has pledged its support for local children’s charity, Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), by sponsoring its upcoming Christmas event, ‘Santas on the Run’.
Polymermedics, and their experienced team, are the ‘go-to’ all around service provider for moulding and assembly needs.
The company have chosen to support CHSW through sponsoring its popular fun-run event, Santas on the Run, which is taking place at the Eden Project on Sunday 1 December.
They are providing re-usable coffee cups for every participant that raises £25.
Participants of the event can run or walk following a festive 2k route around Eden’s iconic landscape. There are 4 Christmassy stations to stop at and enjoy. Take a s-elf-ie with the elf, dash through the snow under the snow machine, sing along to festive carols with the choir in the biome and grab some yummy festive treats!
The event has received further support from local businesses; accountancy firm DL Accounts LTD, vehicle service company Steve Andrews Tyres & Autocare, and nursery Naturally Learning, who are supporting as sponsors of the Christmas stations situated around the route.
Kiley Pearce, Events Fundraiser for CHSW and organiser of the event, said;
“We are so incredibly grateful to have such generous support from local businesses, especially at Christmas. We are looking forward to welcoming almost 800 participants to Eden this Sunday to have a festive fun filled day.
We love this event, and so do the public, as they keep coming back for more year after year!
