Taunton students collect Easter eggs for children’s hospice
Pupils at Bishop Fox's secondary school in Taunton have been busy gathering chocolate eggs to give to poorly children this Easter.
The Year 10 students organised a school-wide collection of Easter treats for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) after deciding to support the charity, which provides vital support for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families.
They managed to collect 43 eggs in total and presented them to CHSW area fundraiser Mary Gray, who visited the school on Thursday to take them to the Little Bridge House children’s hospice in North Devon.
Mary said: “This is such a lovely thing to do for children staying at Little Bridge House this Easter.
“For families facing unimaginable challenges every day, the hospice offers a haven of support and the chance to spend quality together away from the daily routines of around-the-clock care.
“Thank you to all everyone who donated an Easter egg, we’re sure that they will help bring plenty of extra similes at the hospice this Easter.”
