Santas on the Run is back!
Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is excited to announce that its annual Santas on the Run festive fun runs are returning this Christmas and can reveal two exciting new venues.
The Christmas themed 2km event will be returning to the Eden Project in St Austell on 4 December and then for the first time will be held at RMB Chivenor in Barnstaple and CHSW’s very own Charlton Farm children’s hospice in Wraxall on 11 December.
All events will provide the opportunity for participants to walk, jog or run a 2km route in any festive outfit they wish and is the perfect way to get family, friends or even work colleagues into the Christmas spirit with all participants getting a medal to wear proudly in the lead up to Christmas.
“We are so excited about our three Santas on the Run events happening in December, get the dates in your diary!” said Kiley Pearce, Events Fundraiser for CHSW.
They are the perfect way to mark the start of the festive season and really get people ready for Christmas while supporting their local children’s hospice which will be continuing to offer care to families 24/7 throughout the festive season.
Each event will have various fancy dress competitions so everyone taking part is encouraged to get as creative as possible with their festive costumes. Whether you want to sleigh it like Santa, rock it like Rudolph, sock it like a snowman or twinkle like a Christmas tree this is your chance to embrace all things Christmas and all for a good cause.
For anyone not able to make it to one of the events there is a virtual option to take on 2km in a location of your choice, just let CHSW know you are taking part virtually and you will be in with a chance of getting a Santas on the Run medal too.
Early-bird tickets are on sale until Monday 17 October costing just £4.50 for children over 2 and £9 for adults.
