Firewalk coming to Plymouth next month
There is less than one month to go before Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) Firewalk at Kitley House Hotel near Plymouth.
Over 65 adrenaline junkies have already signed up to walk across hot coals at the Firewalk, all in the name of raising vital funds for the local children’s charity which runs Little Harbour children’s hospice in St Austell.
Participants will be facing their fears and pushing their boundaries as they walk along a path of hot coals at temperatures of 1200˚F in front of the beautiful Kitley House Hotel.
The event is taking place on Thursday 7th November from 6pm and CHSW still has a limited number of places available for those still interested in taking part in Plymouth’s shortest, hottest, sponsored walk.
Kiley Pearce, Events Fundraiser for CHSW said
We have had a great response from a fantastic number of supporters who want to take part in this unique event and raise some vital funds for Children’s Hospice South West while doing so. We do still have a limited number of places available so if you are interested be brave and give it a go!
Everyone taking part in the event is asked to raise a minimum of £125 in sponsorship. Money raised will go straight to the charity which supports children and families from across Plymouth and Cornwall with short breaks and respite as well as end of life care and bereavement support.
