Ever wondered what it's like to volunteer?
Join us 1 - 7 February 2018, at your local Children's Hospice South West shop, for an informal chat about what it is like when you volunteer in our friendly shop team.
We rely on our army of superb shop volunteers who help us run our 32 shops and raise much needed funds to support our three children's hospices. But with more volunteers we can do even more together!
Volunteers are vital to our shops and help our retail team to raise over £1m for the care at the hospices. Each and every volunteer helps make such a difference, plus many tell us that they get something really valuable from volunteering too.
Whether you're looking to do good, to meet new people or just challenge yourself to try something new - volunteering could be for you.
Each day from 1 - 7 February your local CHSW shop will be championing all things volunteering. Pop in for an informal cup of tea and a chat, meet other volunteers, or even try out a taster session to see the kind of things you might want to do when volunteering.
I never thought there would be so many different things to do in a shop, it's not all being about being on the till. I've made so many friends here. I know I'm helping the hospice but I get so much from it too.
You can find you local shop here and to find out more about how you could become a CHSW shop volunteer, simply visit your local shop anytime during shop opening hours, contact us for an informal chat on 01271 313319 or email volunteer@chsw.org.uk
