Enjoy entry to Rose Morran Garden in support of local children’s hospice
A Cornish garden is opening on Saturday 29 June in aid of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
Rose Morran garden in Talskiddy, St Columb will be open for visitors to enjoy from 10am-4pm for just £5 entry.
Covering 2 acres, this garden includes colour, shapes and textures through the seasons, with shrubs and trees that have been planted over the last 11 years.
The garden offers a calm welcoming space for guests to relax in. There is parking and disabled parking available, and the garden is partly accessible for wheelchair users, with level viewing areas.
Visitors can buy plants and refreshments, with all proceeds going to CHSW’s Little Harbour hospice in St Austell.
Little Harbour is situated on the coast in Porthpean and is a relaxing place for the families who visit and are in desperate need of care and support from the hospice. The grounds boast beautiful gardens for the children, young people and their families to enjoy all year round.
Alice Merrett, Area Fundraiser for CHSW, said: “I’d like to say a big thank you to Peter and Jenny Brandreth who own the gardens, for opening and supporting us. What a lovely day out, and an amazing way to help a local charity.
“Fundraising comes in every shape and form, and what better way to fundraise than walking around a gorgeous garden with cake in hand!”
