Bristol-based independent financial advisors, Grosvenor Consultancy, chose to support Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) as their Charity of the Year in 2019.

Throughout the year Grosvenor staff members held countless company-wide events with some taking part CHSW’s own events including the 5k Rainbow Run as well as the gruelling 205-mile cycle challenge, Ride for Precious Lives. Several of the team were brave enough to take part in a skydive, whilst one accomplished his first marathon. Director, Tom Burley, was ‘locked up’ and made to raise £999 bail to be released in the charity’s Jail & Bail fundraising challenge.

As a result of the team’s dedication and commitment to fundraising, Managing Director Ben Olson and Tom were delighted to present a cheque for £8,346.37 to CHSW’s Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, Amanda Gallagher.

Amanda said: “The team have taken on so many challenges in 2019 and it’s been great to see different members of the team using their strengths for their fundraising! We’re thrilled the company will be supporting CHSW for another year and can’t wait to see what challenges they take on in 2020!”

Ben said: “Grosvenor Consultancy has been delighted to support such a great cause in 2019. We look forward to continuing and improving on this total in 2020.”
