Bristol’s hottest (and shortest) sponsored walk!
Do you have what it takes to walk along a path of hot coals, at temperatures of 1200˚F in bare feet?
Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is bringing a Firewalk to The Galleries in Bristol on Thursday 11 November and is inviting brave individuals to take on the challenge.
Firewalk is an event that will push your boundaries, challenge your perceptions and make for an unforgettable evening. Sign up before 30 September and you can grab one of a limited number of early bird tickets and get 30% off to mark CHSW’s 30th anniversary.

Sponsorship raised by participants will go towards helping CHSW support over 220 families in the area whose children have been diagnosed with life-limiting conditions. CHSW’s Charlton Farm hospice, just outside of Bristol, provides short breaks, respite and emergency stays for the whole family, as well as end of life care and bereavement support.
For Faith Tutton and her family from Filton in Bristol, Charlton Farm has provided vital support for her daughter Sophie who has Rett syndrome.
Faith says: “Sophie was one of the first children through the doors when Charlton Farm first opened. Almost all her life, they have been there when we've needed them most: for the highs, and the lows; from the times when we've celebrated birthdays, to the times when she's been brought in by ambulance; when the hospice has been at its busiest, to the times when we were the only family there. The care has always been exemplary, family-centred, nurturing and empathetic. It has been our lifeline for so long it seems impossible to imagine a life without that support. We need to make sure Charlton Farm is always there for the most vulnerable when they need it.”
Early bird tickets are available until midday on Thursday 30 September at £21 each. The suggested sponsorship target is £125 per person. People aged 16 and over may take part.
Firewalk Bristol is kindly sponsored by HSBC.
