A Bristol based mortgage advisor is to make a cash donation to Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) for every new mortgage he sells 

Adam Wells, of Adam Wells Mortgages, set up his business in June this year, after working as a Mortgage Advisor since 2009.

After meeting Children’s Hospice South West’s Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser Amanda Gallagher at a business networking event and visiting CHSW’s Charlton Farm hospice in Wraxall, Adam decided he wanted to support the charity.

He will donate £10 for every mortgage secured for his clients to the organisation.

Adam’s support of CHSW does not stop there – he has also signed up to run the Bath Half Marathon in March 2025 to raise money for the charity.

Adam works with a range of clients helping them to find the perfect product for them, from buy to let financing to remortgages and from first time buyers to property landlords

Adam, a dad of one, said: “After meeting Amanda, she invited me to visit the hospice.

“What I saw just blew me away. It is an incredible place.

As a dad of a 2 year-old daughter I cannot imagine what the families who use Charlton Farm are going through.

But I am glad this incredible service is there to support them and happy to help in any way I can

Adam is now getting in training ready for his Bath Half challenge.

“I last ran the Bath Half in 2020,” he said.

“I used to do a lot of running, but perhaps now I am a bit out of practice.

“So, it’s time to pull the running shoes back on and get into training.”
