Our volunteers are the heart and soul of every event, none of which could be staged without their hard work and dedication.
We have lots of event volunteering opportunities all year round! By volunteering at one of our events you can have fun, meet new people, and help raise a smile along the way! The great thing about volunteering at an event is that there are so many different things to do on the day! We have a whole host of events to choose from with roles which include marshalling, cheer points, helping with refreshments, photograpy, face painting, setting up and clearing down.

What do our event volunteers do?
You can be a general volunteer at any of our events, getting involved in a bit of everything or specialising in a particular area that's of interest to you. Perhaps you have some great experience already in an area that you can help us with? Or you'd like to gain some experience?
However you can help volunteer your time and skills, we welcome it.
Just some of the roles for event volunteers:
- Registration and participant welcoming
- Marshalling along event routes
- Setting up and dismantling equipment
- Bucket collections
- Attending local community events to help with promotion
