The easy, green and charitable way to recycle your Christmas tree

Our tree-mendous army of elves will collect and recycle your tree for a donation to Children’s Hospice South West*

We're working in partnership with Just Helping alongside Biffa and Ringway to bring you our popular Christmas tree recycling scheme. Recycling your Christmas tree is not only hassle-free but also helps us support babies, children, young people and their families. To reserve your Christmas tree collection, check your postcode eligibility and secure your spot.

Your tree will be shredded into chippings to be used locally in parks and sports clubs, while your donations will support babies, children and young people living with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Register your tree for collection

*After costs, most monies raised will go to Children’s Hospice South West. A small amount will be distributed to charities in the local community

Recycle for a good cause

By making a donation when recycling your old Christmas tree this year you can help make the most of short and precious lives across the South West.

  • £10 could fund paints and materials for messy play, helping babies, children and young people express how they feel in a creative way
  • £25 could help fund fun times in the hydrotherapy pool for families to make memories together
  • £30 could help fund our 24 hour phone line so even at Christmas every call is answered
  • £45 could help pay for freshly prepared meals for a family during a festive stay
  • £86 could help fund 1 hour of care for a family at one of our hospices at Christmas and all year round.

So far, you have helped recycle 3,074 trees and raised £49,467.30!
