Choosing to fundraise for charity is a great way of raising your company’s profile at events where you want to stand out from the rest! Our corporate partners are constantly surprising us with weird and wonderful fundraising ideas.

Take a look to see what some of our current corporate partners have done all in the name of fundraising:

Business testimonials

Old Mill Accountants

The fantastic team at Old Mill Accountants in Exeter came up with a slightly painful fundraising idea when doing our £50 Challenge. Over four weeks, staff, friends and family were invited to nominate one of the office men to be waxed, in return for a donation to CHSW.

The three unfortunate chaps with the most votes then had their chests and legs waxed in front of all their colleagues!

They were certainly successful – Old Mill were our £50 Challenge 2014 champions, raising an incredible £5,772.40 from their £50 start-up investment!

Cabot Circus We are delighted to be supported by Cabot Circus shopping centre in Bristol as the centre’s 2015/16 Charity of the Year.

The team kicked off fundraising with the cleaning team sponsoring the top three managers to do a 5.30am – 9am early shift and clean all of the escalators, lifts and stainless steel.  A source tells us that it was worth the money just to point out smears in the glass!

What could you sponsor your boss to do at your workplace?

Classic Cottages

Classic Cottages came up with a smashing way to do this at the Porthleven Food Festival in April.

With help from our Helston charity shop who collected old crockery, they ran a ‘crockery smashing contest’ throughout the day!

They raised nearly £250 with Classic Cottages matching this, bringing the total to a whopping £500!   Next time your business is attending an event, could you raise funds for us as a way to engage potential customers?
