Abseil at Canonteign Falls
Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 July 2017
Canonteign Falls, near Exeter
This is a 220ft abseil down England's highest waterfall, Canonteign Falls! The waterfall is situated on the edge of Dartmoor's National Park, in the heart of Devon's Teign Valley, offering some of the most spectacular waterfall and woodland scenery in Devon.
We must emphasise that this is an extreme challenge and you will need to be physically fit to take part as the day includes a 15-20 minute walk up a steep ascent. You must be confident in regards to climb over a barrier at the top of the falls, dropping from heights and navigating water.
You will be provided with full instruction from a trained provider, and also given a wetsuit to wear for the abseil. All on the day information will be included in your fundraising pack which will be posted to you after you have registered.
Your registration fee helps to cover the cost of your participation in this event. Any sponsorship that you are able to raise will help support the vital work of Children’s Hospice South West.
How your sponsorship makes a difference
“Coming to the hospice suddenly your roles as a pharmacist is gone, you’re no longer a doctor, you can just be a parent again...”
